A hidden gem by Eyjafjörður

High-angle view of the seaside boat hot tub facility surrounded by rocks in Hauganes.

Located in the village of Hauganes, Fjöruböðin offers a peaceful place to unwind right by the shoreline. Visitors can enjoy warm beach hot tubs and sauna with views over Eyjafjörður fjord and mountains, breathe in the fresh ocean air, and slow down for a moment away from busy travel days.

Alongside the hot baths, the area also offers a seaside campsite for travelers exploring North Iceland.

Now we also welcome our guests to a new beachside Café, a cozy panoramic space to relax by the waters and spectacular mountain and ocean views where seals and whales are sometimes checking those interesting creatures called humans at the beach.
